Region of Peel, Home Ownership Program

Thank you for viewing my blog regarding Real Estate news throughout the GTA area.  Well, today was another great day in which Home Ownership in the Peel Region (Brampton, Caledon, Mississauga) can be successfully achieved.

Here is the outline information about the program and how you can go about qualifying for this program

Participant Eligibility:

• Applicants must be 18years or older
• Applicants must be renting
• Applicants must not own or have interest in another residential property in and outside of Canada
• Applicants must have a total household income not exceeding $80,000
• Applicants must be able to obtain a mortgage pre-approval from Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) insured and approved Lender
• Applicants must be able to pay for all additional closing cost.

This program works alongside Realtors, Mortgage Brokers and Lawyers to complete this process.  The Region of Peel will provide the potential buyers with a $15,000 downpayment of any Resale property ONLY.  All additional costs for example, lawyer fees, deposit, and any miscellaneous adjustments are responsible from the Buyer. Therefore, having additional funds already in your bank account prior is of the utmost importance.
